Each year in October, the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) supports a National Drug Take Back Day. October 29, 2022 was the 23rd annual Take Back Day.

In Washington there were 78 collection sites (including Asotin) and Washington collected over 7,300 pounds of unneeded medication.

You don’t need to wait until October to safely get rid of unneeded medication. You can find a location to drop off the medication any day of the year. You do not need to give your name or other identifying information when you drop off.
