Talk. They Hear You.

It can be challenging to know how to talk to your child about substance use and sometimes you may not know where to even start.

The “Talk, They Hear You” campaign by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is designed to help parents and community members learn how to talk to youth about substance use prevention. The campaign materials include information about substances for parents so they can go into the conversation informed and ready to answer their child’s questions. You can also find tips about starting the conversation.

“Talk. They Hear You” campaign covers a range of substances from vaping to alcohol to opioids. Check it out at Parent & Caregiver Resources | SAMHSA!
