In 2018, the Washington State Department of Health launched the statewide marijuana prevention and education campaign, You Can. The campaign encourages teens to pursue their future dreams and immediate personal goals, aims to educate teens about the health effects and consequences of using marijuana and lets them know that when it comes to pursuing future dreams and goals, “Marijuana Can’t. You Can.” The campaign recognizes the stress that comes with being a teen and provides healthy alternatives to unhealthy behaviors. Ultimately, You Can empowers young people to choose themselves, school, relationships, health, and safety over using marijuana.
We are excited to bring this campaign to our community to encouraged and support our youth in making healthy life choices. If you would like to learn more about this campaign you can visit the website at: https://youcanwa.org/
